Apparently, i think it is good decision. But maximum % of graduate students unable to carry 50% marks . It is not the manetary system of India. since inflation rate is high so 5,10 & 25 paisa has been rejected.Recent decision is just like the same. Here 50% is not the factor at all, fact is whether they are fit adapt the job.If they are not capable to teach the students of class x or xii standard then why all the universities have been awarding master digrees.Pl. try to uplift the entire education system.

For recruitment of Lecturer there is no need of passing B Ed or M Ed . Only passing NET is the eligibility for Lecturership. I think for recruitment of Asst teacher in WB ,passing SSC examination(which can be considered as eligibility test) is more enough. If at all BEd is compulsory Govt should give notice well in advance so that student can obtain the requisite degree.Govt should decide welfare of the student. Moreover Disable students are struggling to get their degree any how for them to get 50% is herculean task, beside the BEd degree.Govt should think of disabled person.By this descission their dream of becoming teacher will be unfulfilled.

I think Govt.should think of the matter regarding the new rules of implementation of 50% in graduation for appearing for the post of Assistant teacher through the examination conducted by West Bengal school service commission. The student having less than 50% marks in graduation will fall prey to the new rules & their dreams to be a teacher never come true due to this circular that is about to be implemented. govt. should take necessary steps to help support the student to fulfil their dreams by giving chance to appear the exa. eradicating the new rules to some extent. That is all from me................

By agreeing with central govt. our state again show its bloody immature & impractical face!! This rule is nothing but 'Tughlaki Aain'. except hand few of Lucky guy, Gratuates of Beng/Eng/ Sanskrit cant get a 50% due to proffessors' preoccupied minds full of stereotyped jealousy! therefore compulsory of 50% in B.A/B.Sc/B.Com where Number is more imp.than Intelligency, i.e Quantity is greater than Quality, is nothing but a way to produce more Well-Educated Beggar..coz max gratuates from middle class families DO dream to be a teacher, thats the only job they can afford. but WE are simply the victims of WBSSC that is a puppet body of Dirty Politics!!

Iwelcome the descission made by wbssc. It is a good descission.Ithink to become a teacher individual should have optimum knoledge in the perticular subject and it is only the percentage scored by any student determines his capability.Only scoring will tell anbody's intelligence.percentage determine only quality. It wiil be helpfull to produce qquality teacher. The descission should have taken earlier.Govt are too late to take this education friendly descission.OK No problem-"BETTER LATE THAN NEVER"Thank you.s biswas

our new government should think about this. this should not be done. the students should have the opportunity to sit for the exam. there should no criteria for this exam.

VERY WELL SAID SARIRA MADAM... 100% AGREE WITH YOU.... JUST A BULLSHIT SYSTEM OF EDUCATION IS RUNNING IN OUR STATE.

AND "S.BISWAS" THESE WORDS ARE FOR U - U R A PERSON WHO HAVE ALL THAT CRITERIA AND AGREEING THE DECISION OF WBSSC. SUCH TYPE OF PERSON CAN'T UNDERSTAND THE REAL PROBLEM OF ALL. SO IT WD BE BETTER TO SHUT UR MOUTH UP AND NJOY THE BULLSHIT DECISION WHICH U LIKE MOST.

REALLY, THIS METHOD OF RECRUITMENT SHOULD NOT BE DONE BY WBSSC.

SIR,
I think it is a better decision taken
from the govt,we can not compromise with quality education.a well qualified teach better 50%is necessary for a teacher it is a good decision.

I THINK THIS IS BETTER DECISION TAKEN BY THE GOVERNMENT.WE CAN NOT COMPROMISE WITH THE QUALITY EDUCATION.SO 50%MARKS IS NECESSARY FOR A TEACHER.A WELL QUALIFIED CAN TEACH BETTER AND THEY PROVIDE A QUALITY EDUCATIN.SO I THINK IT IS A GOOD AND SMART DECISION TAKEN BY GOVERNMENT.

Well sensitive issue ,but I want to tell something,In other states there major subjects offered or pass course some with MCQ MCQ pattern,In west Bengal students has to write descriptive answer with old pattern ,so 50% marks is not a very easier task for Bengal students,I was a student of a well known college of west Bengal where students got admitted with highest scores in higher secondary level(more than star marks)out of 60 students intake only 21 got more than 50% and these result is not an exception from other colleges and other subjects too.my question is more than 60% students are below quality if they dont persue 50% marks?so is not is a problem to west bengal educational system?(we were science honors students) other state universities(maximum) giving comparably greater marks u may judge (more than 70% marks in avarage).so better it needs time to improve our system and educational process first and then they need to impose condition.ONE MORE THING A STUDENT WITH VERY GOOD MARKS DONT IMPLY HES IS A VERY GOOD TEACHER TEACHING IS A SKILL AND I THING ACCREDITATION BOARD SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE FACT THAT INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE TEACHING SHOULD BE INCREASED TEACHER A GOOD TEACHER CAN NOT BE FOUND ONLY ON THE BASIS OF MARKS,EVEN A STUDENT WITH LOW MARKS CAN BE A VERY GOOD TEACHER IF HE HAVING GOOD TEACHING SKILL

i reply to mr sbiswas who said you only the number is the way to judge knoledge in the perticular subject ,you please study scientist life and their qualifications they had even no degree ,still you say they were not good teacher?I know many people who got less than 505 marks in BSC hons in physics and now they are scientists of high rank institutes in foreign countries or doing job as university lecturer,so what u say are not they eligible for school teaching?well a minimum degree qualify specifies his/her knowledge number only judge how he remember the exact answers and how he represented his answer inside examination hall, not his quality.so i don't think marks should be imposed a degree is sufficient to specify his/her knowledge.
